Door Supervision
Door Supervision (Level 2 Award in Door Supervision)
Required Qualifications for Door Supervisors
You must obtain one of these qualifications before you can apply for a door supervisor licence to work in a front line position.
SIA-endorsed qualifications are valid for SIA licensing requirements regardless of which UK qualifications regulatory authority or examination board approved them.
Door Supervisor Training
To obtain an SIA licence you will need to show that you are trained to the correct level. This only applies to staff working in the front- line.
To achieve one of the qualifications linked to door supervisor licensing, you will need to attend and take four training modules and pass three multiple choice exams. You will also be required to pass a practical assessment in the Physical Intervention module.
